it's been a lean meet at hollywood as the quality of racing in socal, particularly at hollywood, has suffered the last few years. we need slots in california to compete. anyway, here goes hollywood.

r1: i think we can beat onectar, but i'm not sure whom i'm going to play in here. i'll end up either with miss cyprus or the better drawn butter tart, who should get a perfect trip stalking from the outside first off the claim for sherman.

r2: zoloo nights. tough to win from the rail, but we get the meet's leading rider and 'nights should get a good stalking trip behind fat boys.

r4: good student. think this mcanally returnee can really run and she doesn't meet the deepest field in the world.

r8: no time to lose. like this daughter of miswaki who debuts for the baze/oneill combo and looks to have found a pretty empty field for his debut. this race is loaded with cal, ny, and fla breds, so this daughter of miswaki need only be a marginal runner to win this leg.

good luck.

MAZEL,

THANKS FOR POSTING, HOW WILL THE DEL MAR MEET BE, I WOULD ASSUME MUCH BETTER AS HOLLYWOOD ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE THE 2ND TIER TRACK NEXT TO DEL MAR AND S.A ............G.

del mar is usually the crown jewel of the socal racing circuit, although the smaller circuits have jacked up their purses (not to mention the decreased cost structure with cheaper insurance, etc.) so that they are nearly on par with the money offered here. on top of that, we're isolated in california, it's hard to draw on neighboring circuits for horseflesh.
